Fake offer?
Recently I received an offer for
An item and I accepted the offer. But the buyer never paid and the transaction doesn’t appear anywhere. It’s like a ghost transaction. This has happened a few times in the past. I’m wondering if the offer was fake? Once a buyer makes and offer and I accept as a seller wouldn’t that shows as a sold item and be shown in my history? In this case it’s nowhere to be found. Very odd.

Mentor1 month agoCheck to see if the listing is still on your active listings. If they didn't pay, the item isn't really sold yet and remains active.

Mentor1 month agoAs I recall, the buyer has 4 days to pay, so anyone can come in and purchase the item if the buyer doesn't pay right away. Have you opted into the autopay for auctions and best offers?

OP1 month agoThanks for the replies. I think it’s just a pending item that seems to hide. So yes the person hasn’t paid. It’s just odd I never got a “your item
Sold” notice. So it’s hard to know status.

Mentor1 month agoRight because it is still active. It isn't sold until it is paid for.
