fake item to sell

Question

I have noticed some accounts that have posted "art" to sell at ridiculous prices for everyday items. For example someone is selling a water spigot for 50K. Another is selling 2 rolls of toilet paper cores for 37k. Is this a joke? How can ebay allow this. It makes the site so cheap and unprofessional. I can't even contact ebay to tell them because their customer services sucks.

Sellers can list their items for whatever price they want. Hopefully no one will purchase the items at those ridiculous prices.

Prices are set by the sellers, eBay does not police pricing except for items deemed essential during a declared emergency. Then price gouging laws apply.

Someone paid millions for a banana taped to the wall, so, as they say, art is in the eye of the beholder.
