Fake item
So I bought a fake item that was advertised as authentic. They said they would refund me. Sent me a return postage. I packed it back up immediately and I dropped it off the to USPS on my way home from work the day I got the label. After the fact they send me a message asking for tracking info…ummm you provided it. Low and behold USPS didn’t scan the item. It’s nowhere to be found and I’m still out the money. They refuse to refund. I just filed a dispute with the bank. I guess my question is how often is the seller a scammer? Will I continue to have to dispute through the bank. I spend a lot here and it really irritates me that I was sold a fake item $100+ and went through the return hassle only to get told too bad usps can’t do their job. It’s trash anyway. Sorry for the rant

Mentor3 years agoAny time you get a return label from a seller, you need to take it to the post office and have the clerk scan the label. That will record the fact that you took the package to the post office and they now have the package. When that tracking number shows DEIVERED, the seller has 2 days to refund you. If no refund, you go back to the returns request and click Ask ebay to step in, to force the refund.
