Fake guitars and other items.

Question

I'm so sick of seeing fake I knock off guitars not only on eBay but also on the local market. How do we get these off of eBay? eBay doesn't seem to mind letting people sell obviously fake items. I don't have time to sit here and flag the same listings over and over again. It's a shame that this is legal. It hurts consumers as well as manufacturers.

eBay will remove listings if verified rights-owners file formal take-down notices.

Buyers that receive items that are not as described can get refunds if they recognize that is the case.

Others can report suspicious listings, but most likely sellers intent on selling counterfeits can list them much faster than eBay can take them down.
