Fake filters being sold
I purchased a reportedly OEM Samsung water filter for my fridge. Although the product looks nearly identical to the genuine filter, I reported to the seller the two ways to determine that their product is not genuine. The seller responded that I should just use the product and did not respond to my claim of it being non OEM. Of course I returned it. But I’m sure others aren’t realizing it and thinking they are genuine. How would one get eBay’s attention to this? Thank you

The best way is exactly what you did ... i.e., returning the item as Not As Described. Even if suspicions that reports of seller policy violation go into file thirteen are true, you can be sure that eBay does keep track of their bottom line. I said if.
