Fake feedback count
So, I just had this account purchase something and then send me a message about sending it to a different address. Sounds shady and it's against Ebay's Seller Protection, so I canceled the order. After digging around, I'm wondering why this account shows a feedback count of 8 but when you click to view it, it says there's no feedback. Is this a scam account and how does Ebay allow this?

First of all, it's not unusual for a buyer to forget to change the address on the order and ask you to fix it. The way you fix it is by verifying that the message came from the same user ID that made the purchase and if so cancelling the order as problem with buyer's address. Then you relist the item so the buyer can repurchase it. You can then send the buyer the new item # and remind the buyer to use the Change link at checkout to correct the address before completing payment.
Secondly, the buyer is not responsible for what you see in the screenshot you posted. eBay displays that information - not the buyer. Without being able to look at the buyer's feedback myself, I can't explain what you're seeing (but don't post the buyer's name as that isn't allowed in the community). If you go to the buyer's regular feedback page, you may see more information.
