Fake Elanco Seresto Flea Collar
I recently purchased a Seresto Flea Collar on Ebay, checking as carefully as possible to make sure it was not a fake collar. Seller has 95% positive remarks. Never received any communication from the seller until I asked if the item had been shipped. Then seller claimed item had been recently shipped. Seller is supposed to be in Georgia, USA. Item tracking showing the item received by USPS in Katy, TX, and then shipped to a location in California. Return address on the mailing package is from Illinois... all USA. Seller's email is from a foreign country. I received the "flea collar" in the mail and it is a really, really poor-quality FAKE! The lot numbers on the exterior of the metal container does not match the lot number of the interior packaging. Elanco bought out Bayer several years ago. All authentic Seresto Flea Collars carry only the Elanco trademark. The packaging on the collar I received has trademarks from both Bayer and Elanco. I have asked for a full refund, not sure I will get one.

Never purchase medicine/pest prevention for your pets on Ebay. In the 20+ years I have been on Ebay I have heard many sad stories about Ebay member's pets suffering unfortunate consequences when the owners unknowingly purchased fake/inauthentic products for use on their animals.

OP3 years agoThank you. I have requested a full refund ASAP from the seller. I had previously purchased the same brand flea collar from another seller, and it was authentic, and from a US seller! The recent purchase was from someone who claimed to be a US seller. If I don't get a full refund, I will contact Ebay.
