Fake Coins
Ya I put a morgan dollar up for sale and didn't think to check it as a fake. I heard somebody talking about fakes yesterday and I got other Morgan dollars and
i was thinking I should start weighing every coin for now on.
so I checked and it's fake.
how do I cancel the auction and what's the penalty?
I am prolly more disappointed than anybody so I definitely don't want to disappoint a buyer

Mentor2 years agoFrom the drop down menu next to the item, cancel any bids then click on END. If there were no bids or offers there will be no penalty.

I'm glad you caught it before it sold!
If this is an auction with a bid you will be charged a final value fee based on the highest bid. If there is 12 hours or less on the auction then you can only sell to the high bidder.

If this is the first time you canceled an auction with a bid you can ask eBay if they will give you a courtesy refund of the selling fee.
