Fake buyers
Looking for some guidance regarding 2 recent sales. Both ended up being scammers asking for questions only to be answered via a cell number they're providing. I'm a newer seller so I'm certain that comes into play. What can I do to stop this? Also..regarding the first scammer..I did report it to Ebay. I had to wait to cancel and relist the item. WHY..when it was Ebay that alerted me in the first place about him? I send him the following "Good morning, I can get this shipped out today once payment is received. What questions can I help you with?
Please note that Ebay requires all communication is done here, so I'd prefer to follow their rules. Thank you & I appreciate your business!

I had to wait from Tuesday till Sunday to cancel the sale. Now it's not letting me relist the item. Anyone know why?

·3 years agoNew sellers are big targets for scammers.
Get rid of Best Offer and require immediate payment and that will get rid of most of the scammers.
You can add the IDs to your blocked buyers list, but they just open new accounts and keep scamming.
