fake "buyer" vandalizing legitimate listings
ebay has a "buyer" with user named "pq9h8-10" who bids on items but does not pay. This is the first time this has happened to me, but ebay support is not responsive. They want their listing fee of course. But there appears to be no recourse for the legitimate seller who has had his listing removed, and now has to list again for another $49.
Ebay's drop down box does not even give an appropriate choice to lodge a complaint against this fake buyer. The irony is that this fake buyer appears to have a "positive" rating until you dig into it, which I did. Not sure how that person was able to do that.

·2 years agoVehicle listings on eBay are non binding; either the buyer or seller can walk away at any point before money changes hands without penalty. The “buyer†did nothing wrong.
Think of the vehicle listings as being like placing a classified ad in your local newspaper. If someone says they’re planning to buy the vehicle, so you pull the ad, then they see it and say No, you would have to pay the newspaper again for the ad.
