Fake ads or misleading sellers
Wish I could block such scam artists.
How many always sellers do we see advertise a price on their page and then suddenly you go for that item and it's misleading?
Cellphones and cellphone covers are notorious for this. Seen a cellphone for example at $204 then when you go to the seller's page they have you click color, storage capacity, phone carrier. Literally NONE of those phones start at that price advertise...NONE!
I've seen tons of sellers this. How is that legal? If that price is advertise than that price should stand.
How is EBAY allowing such things on their site. It's so blatant.
Those sellers should be banned for misleading ads or scamming. Or at least a note stating that price is not to be taken seriously or something.

Mentor1 year agoUnfortunately, when sellers use the Variations feature on their listing, one of the variations offers that low price, and that is what ebay shows to buyers.
