FAKE ACCOUNT

Question

I have a seller that created an account after hacking my email address. So he apparently has listing, I'm getting the email that items have been sold and then they are cancelled by the customer but they are not my items. I don't even have any items for sale and haven't had in a couple years. I'm getting emails from Ebay about not sending sold items etc. I have tried to get to support by chat but it is AI and doesn't answer this question. How do I get to Ebay people to explain what is happening.

Here's my advice to help secure your account:

#1 Run a full scan with your virus software to remove any spyware from your computer.

#2 Go to my eBay> account>personal information and make sure that all information is correct including your cell phone number, registered email and ship from and to addresses.

#4 Secure your email account.

Change the passwords and secret questions. Be sure to use different passwords and secret questions on eBay and your email. Do not use these passwords on any other account.
Hacked accounts often start with a hacked email account.

#7 Unlink all Social Sign in methods and change your passwords on those accounts too. The hacker will be able to use the social sign in links to sign in to your account again if you do not disconnect this option.
