Faith
So, i started my refund process but then the seller messaged me apologizing for what happened and gave me a refund and told me to throw the item away. Idk if its a he or she but they restored my faith in ebay lol so to speak. Im posting it here so other seller's could use this as an example of how a good business is run

Mentor5 months agoLots and lots of "good business[es]" on eBay do exactly what you described.
We usually see Complaints Only here in these eBay Community Forums.
Back in the difficult days of Covid, my selling ID sold an item which, like too many things at that time, got delayed and/or misdirected by the US Postal Service. The tracking number showed zero movement for a couple of weeks, as I recall. My buyer was disappointed, to say the least. I refunded him his full purchase price, and told him he could keep the item if it ever showed up. Which it finally did.
There are a couple of practical things you could do for that seller:
(1) Give him/her positive feedback on that transaction.
(2) Buy something else from him/her.
