Failed delivery attempts

Question

I placed a order and payed for it and shipping cost was included in the total when I received the notification that it was out for delivery today instead of receiving my package I got a notice in my mailbox saying that it couldn't be delivered due to postage payment required.....

I don't understand how that is possible I paid for the shipping that was included in the total cost..

@eexr5528 To add to that good advice, it may be that USPS made the mistake, not the seller. USPS has implemented a brand-new verification system. They acknowledge that the system is often making mistakes verifying weights for the shipping method, so they are mistakenly charging postage due.

@eexr5528 It sounds like the seller didn't pay for the correct postage on the label.

Your options are to pay the postage but don't expect the seller to refund you, they MIGHT but eBay can't force them. You might try reaching out to the seller before refusing the package and see what they say if you show them the postage due notice. They may have made an honest mistake. If they did then they can select send refund from the drop down menu next to the sold item and issue a partial refund.

OR refuse the package at the post office and be sure to get a copy of the notice that says it arrived postage due. Postage due is the ONLY reason a buyer can refuse a package and receive a full refund.

Once you refuse the package file a not received refund request.

Once the item is sent back to the seller contact customer service and show your proof that it arrived postage due.
