Extremely frustrated, Sports cards not received, customer service was no help. Any asnwers?
I have purchased many items via Ebay and mostly never had an issue. I recently ordered a bunch of Sports cards (from different sellers). In two days i have 5 cards tracked as delivered which i never received. I contacted my post office and they stated they would not deliver items with a tracking number beginning with "ESUS" as they cannot bill it. A web search reveals that ESUS is an Ebay tracking number assigned prior to shipping to the post office. I also noticed that all my sports cards had this designation in their tracking numbers but none of my other items did. Upon dealing with Customer Service their only solution is basically to try and get my money back from the seller or wait and use Ebays money back guarentee. I am trying to find out why sports cards are being assigned a number that my post office wont deliver so that i may continue ordering "cards" and actually receive them and so the seller doesnt get screwed but the customer service rep was lost and of no help. I believe they are sitting somewhere in a pile of undeliverable mail tbh. Frustrated as i intended to order more cards for a project i was working on and now dont know how to proceed. Anyone else ever have this happen?

Mentor3 years agoThese sellers are using ebay's standard envelope for trading cards, postcards, stamps, coins & currency, which is a low cost method for these items that qualify. The ESUS numbered envelopes are "read" by the sorting machines at the USPS hubs before they arrive at your local post office. That is why they show "delivered" several days before the are actually delivered.
If you do not receive these items within a reasonable number of days, you can go here:
