Extra shipping for a warranty item
Hello, I bought car parts (cv axles) from a seller on eBay. They failed after a week. I sent them back to the seller and now they want me to pay shipping for the warranty axles. They asked for my PayPal info to send a request and I'm not sure what to send them. I'm ok paying the $29 shipping.

Mentor2 years ago@jree5593 Did you file an official eBay return request? If so then a pre paid return label is issued from the request.
The seller is responsible for paying return shipping and refunding you 100%.
Did you send the axels back with an official return request?
I am not sure why the seller is asking for shipping for the " warranty axels" Is this replacements for the original order?

OP2 years agoThe seller sent me a return shipping label, not sure if it was through eBay or not. They took a long time to get back to me, plus I got busy with life and was delayed on my responses- so it was outside the 90 day window.

Mentor2 years ago@jree5593 Then I am sorry but you do have to pay return shipping if you wish to continue working with the seller on this outside of eBay. It is up to the two of you how you send the seller the $ for the shipping.
Your only other option would be a credit card charge back for an item that is significantly not as described.
