extra shipping costs when using calculated shipping options
Is anyone else getting charged extra for shipping when purchasing labels for the calculated shipping rates? I have been repeatedly having to pay more for each item when I use the calculated shipping rate option and I don't understand why it's not accurate. For example, it will say it charged the buyer 4.30 but then I'll have to pay 5.25 for the same size. I've tried to fix this by being accurate on shipping sizes and weights and I've even tried overestimating shipping weight or box sizes and then when I go to purchase a label and changing it to less weight and/or smaller box, it will STILL cost me more than Ebay charged the buyer. For example, it will say it charged the buyer 4.30 but then I'll have to pay 5.25 for the same size. I've let this slide for months now because it's usually not more than $1, but I'm fed up with it because it's adding up and I've sold some bigger things lately. To me, it sounds like just another way that Ebay is getting more money out of the sellers and I'm ready to be done selling on this platform all together. Peace out Ebay!
