Extra Shipping Costs During GoVernment Shutdown
I am waiting for a pair of jeans. The seller is from Canada and I live in the U.S. They were supposed to be delivered 10/6/25. UPS tried to deliver today. I wasn’t home and they left a note saying $59.53 dues to UPS. Shipping costs were included in the EBay payment. I don’t understand what is happening.

Mentor10 months agoThis was because the De Minimus rule was ended a couple of months ago.
It is import duties and fees that you are responsible for if you purchase outside the US.
