Extra shipping charge Fedex
Fedex charged me extra saying my 16oz item (Tupperware beverage buddy) weighed 7.5 lbs, which is ridiculous. I could understand maybe a oz or 2 but not 6.5 lbs more. How do I dispute this?

Mentor1 year ago@willertime This sounds like a dimensional weight surcharge due to the package being over 1 cubic foot.
Only eBay customer service can file the dispute since they are the Fed Ex customer. I recommend contacting CS on social media to ask them to do this. Keep in mind that Fed Ex does sometimes add incorrect surcharges but there are CORRECT surcharges that you can read about on the Fed Ex website.
Personally if I have an item that is too large or heavy to ship via USPS then I use UPS and buy the label from PIrateship.com. Pirateship helps with insurance claims and surcharge disputes. UPS does have a list of valid surcharges on their website too. UPS does not add surcharges as often as Fed Ex does.
Here's how to contact eBay general customer service:
eBay agents are working from home so you have to request a call back or live chat.
1. CLICK THIS LINK:

2. Request a call back
3. Or you can also contact customer service by sending a PRIVATE message on social media. Customer service verifies your identity before responding.

OP1 year agoThank you for the information, the package only measured 12x9x8, so don't know how the cubic ft. would be the issue
