extra Fedex shipping charges
I purchased a set of 4 golf clubs on eBay from a seller, which I received. The package weighed 4 lbs.
A few weeks later after determining that I didn't like these clubs, I listed & sold them on eBay. I used the same box to ship the clubs to the next Buyer. They weighed 4 lbs. I selected Fedex from my Seller Dashboard and purchased the cheapest shipping service offered. FedEx uses a drop-off system and I dropped off the package there, as I have for many packages over the past few years. The box was shipped as normal.
A week later, I received an eBay email indicating that this shipment was under-weighed and I was being charged for a 30lb package rate, which added another $17.00 to my costs on this transaction. The charge was automatically deducted from my credit card.
I can reach anyone to discuss this arbitrary charge with.
What should I do from here - just suck it up?
