Extending a shipping date for a buyer
A buyer purchased an item but I need to extend the shipping date. The buyer is fine with this. Do I need to notify eBay that the shipping will be delayed?

Mentor2 years agoIt is not possible to change the shipping date once the item has sold. eBay expects you to ship within your stated handling time once the buyer pays so you can ask the buyer to not pay right away. However the buyer must pay within four days of the sale or eBay may automatically cancel the purchase and issue the buyer a non payment strike on their account.
