I need to extend the due date of the payment. The buyer has run into a family medical emergency. How do I do this?

·2 years agoMotor Vehicles sell differently from other items here. Since it is cash on pickup you wait until they are ready to pick it up and pay you. Since you've already paid eBay (or are committed to doing so) the package price for the listing I can't think of any reason why they would take an action if nothing happens between you and the buyer for weeks to come or ever. Your "Full payment is required within 3 days of listing close" doesn't really have any real world effect that I know of: it is entirely up to you to enforce it (e.g. by refusing to sell after that) or not.
