Express payouts - my debit card is being recognized as a credit card
This issue will have reached 5 weeks tomorrow. I have a Discover checking account, which in turn has a Discover Debit card. Debit cards are the only way to use Ebay's express payout. However, when inputting my debit card information, it is not being recognized as a debit card but rather a credit card and will not let me transfer my funds immediately. I have multiple "High Priority" tickets out and was told at most it will be resolved in 48 hours. After speaking with customer service I was told she is the highest authority I can speak with. In what world does a billion dollar company think anyone would believe that is possible. Does anyone have any type of solution where I will be able to get my money before 11:59 pm (eastern)?

Mentor2 years ago@fosluv Do you have a linked and verified checking account? You must have that before you can link a debit card for Express Payouts. Express Payouts have a fee of 1.5% ( max $15 per transaction)
The instructions say it has to be a Visa or Mastercard. That's why the Discover card is not working.
Payouts to your debit card
Alternatively, eligible sellers have the option to receive payouts to a verified Visa or Mastercard debit card for an additional fee. If you’re eligible, you’ll find a banner with instructions for setting up your debit card in Seller Hub or My eBay.
In some cases, you may need to verify your debit card details by uploading a bank statement. It usually takes 48 hours for payouts to be enabled for your debit card, but you can continue to receive payouts to your checking account during this time. Once your debit card is verified, you can select your debit card as your preferred payout method by following the steps above, or request a payout to your debit card on demand, which typically arrives within 30 minutes.
An additional fee will be deducted from your payout total at the time the funds are transferred, whether it's a scheduled payout or an on demand payout. The fee is 1.5% of the payout amount. However, there is a minimum fee of $0.25, and the fee is capped at $15. If the requested amount is less than $5, or more than your card issuer's deposit limit, the funds will be sent to your checking account instead.

I believe that you also have to turn on two step verification in account settings.
