Question

On eBay when it comes to advertising only certain product variants, is is necessary to break apart the variants into separate listings?

For some variants we have more inventory, while other variants have more margin. So we would just like to pick and choose the variants we promote, ideally without having to create multiple listings.

@primette In general if you have items that are the same such as shirts in different sizes then variation listings work well.

Please keep eBay's dropshipping policy in mind when selling on the site. eBay may require you to provide proof of purchase of the items you are selling. I have seen drop ship sellers lose money and have their accounts banned for not following the site policy.

You are not allowed to buy items on another site after you sold the item on eBay and have that site deliver to your buyer.

You can have another site ship your items for you to the buyer IF you OWN the merchandise in the other sites warehouse.
