Expired Misrepresented Purchase/ I WAS TRICKED
Hello Ebayers:
I have an unigue problem for which I am out of options. Maybe someone has a valid suggestion. Here's my story...
I purchased a used music mixing console from an Ebay seller in October. I resold the item with the same listing information from when I purchased the item. My buyer contacted me to alert me that the item was not the model advertisd and they would be returning it for a refund. I apologized to the buyer and asked him to forgive me for the oversight.
I then checked the model and serial number with the manufacturer who confirmed it was NOT the model that was promoted in the Ebay ad that I responded to with an offer for purchase.
I contacted the seller and he is NOT interested in refunding me.
IMPORTANT DETAIL:
It is past the 90 day period.
Any suggestions on how I can salvage this situation or does the 90 day period void all possible options?
How about posting a damning review?

Mentor6 months ago@barrybario Just adding to my fellow Mentor's excellent answer. You can see what protections your payment method has for items items that are significantly not as described.

Mentor6 months agoThere is nothing you can do since you resold the item.
Even if you had not resold the item, there is nothing you can do through Ebay since the 30 day Money Back Guarantee has expired. There is no "90 day period".
It is too late to leave feedback for the seller.
