Experiences with tariffs imposed by the US government on products from China in 2025.
I'm interested in learning about experiences with tariffs imposed by the U.S. government on products from China in 2025. I plan to purchase some products on eBay for a total of $17.96 USD. I'd like to know how high the price of this product will be.

The de minimis exemption will be removed for shipments from China and Hong Kong. This exemption previously allowed US consumers to import goods under $800 without paying tariffs and fees, known as duties. Now, duties may apply to all orders-no matter their cost.
Shipments over $250 from China and Hong Kong will need to go through formal entry, and US Customs or shipping providers may need personal info, such as your nine-digit Social Security number. Check back here for updates as this future change is still in development.
That's means if a purchased the articles with cost $17.96 USD, i will have to pay tariffs and fees, however how much they will be the tariffs and fees?

Things could change depending on negotiations. Or not....
As it stands now as I said yes you will pay tariffs on imports of any amount after May 2nd.

Mentor1 year agoAs @comics-scifi-collectibles tried to explain, currently we don't know as the President of the United States has not yet made this determination. Until there are further negotiations or determinations by POTUS, all we know is what is on Ebay's page for tariffs.

Be sure to scroll to the right to see the China and Hong Kong section. Unless something changes there will be tariffs on all shipments from China and Hong Kong after May 2nd.
