Expensive shipping charge on returned item
I purchased car floor mats for $230 dollars and returned the item because they did not fit properly. I received only a $75 refund when I returned the item. This was due to a $156.00 shipping charge to return the mats even though these mats only weighed about 13 lbs and it was a domestic shipment. I followed ebay's return process including the printing of the shipping label. I saw that the shipping estimate seemed very high, but it also stated this was only an "estimate", so I proceeded with the return as instructed. When I complained to the seller they told me that ebay sets the returns shipping cost's and that I should contact them directly to discuss the shipping charges. How the heck do I do that?
