Excessive shipping cost
I just purchased a shipping label from eBay. Afterward, I learned that the label cost an eye-popping $56. According to USPS, that shipment should have cost just $15. Is it possible to get a refund on this unwarranted excessive charge? If so, how to do that?

·2 years ago@trkscribe To add, if you've already shipped the package, you cannot void the label.

Mentor2 years ago@trkscribe It sounds like you must have selected the wrong shipping service, priority vs ground, or the package measurements were wrong when you bought the label. Be sure to verify ALL shipping information on the label page before purchasing the label.
You can void the label within 5 days of purchasing it from the actions drop down menu next to the label on this page>
https://www.ebay.com/ship/labels/seller-hub
Then the postal service will refund you in about 3-4 weeks on your all transactions page here>

Be sure to ADD the new tracking number to the sold item and let your buyer know which tracking number to watch.

OP2 years agoThank you for your helpful information. I already shipped the item - unfortunately - so I'll just need to consider this expense as the "price of learning." Thanks again.
