excessive bid retractions
Why does ebay allow someone to have excessive bid retractions? I had someone retract a bid on or before the end date after being high bidder for days and I looked and seen they have had 64 bid retractions in 12 months. Ebay, why do you allow this? It hurts sellers. This person should be kicked off.

·2 years agoOnly 64? I've seen them in the hundreds. Unfortunately eBay seems to have done next to nothing (and I'm being generous with the "next to") to enforce the rule against lying to retract for about the past decade. All that I can see they have done in that time is to remove the "unable to contact seller" reason (which had to do with their contact information which eBay no longer gives out to bidders, shifting to its own messaging system instead) and simply doing away with it on categories (trading cards) where "bid shielding" had become rampant.
