Question

I have spoken to the seller and was informed that I could keep the merchandise and they would return 30% of my money back? Well I paid $41.71 for the item, that I could keep the merchandise. I think that it’s a reasonable transaction. Do you think it’s worth me settling for this agreement?

I would only accept a partial refund from a Seller in response to you opening a formal refund request on eBay. Otherwise, the Seller can ask you to close your request in exchange for the partial refund. If you do that, the Seller has no incentive to follow through. Plus, you would lose your Buyer Protections from eBay.

Thanks for the advice! I have already agreed to the idea that partial payment. Only if he refunds my money back. And I must see that it’s truly refunded to me. Then only will I close the request my refund back.
