Exact search
Why is it, eBay, like Amazon, is incapable of following instructions? When I search for Blackmagic 4K camera, that does not mean ‘I am looking for a 6K camera or for a Blackmagic Ursa camera . If I search for a 4TB hard disk, I don’t want to see 2TB drives. If I search for items in UK only, that means not in US, Japan, Germany etc.
Very annoying, or am I missing something?

eBay is doing this deliberately; they're refining your search. Use google to search for eBay Automatic Search Expansion. There used to be a Help topic that addressed ASE but eBay removed it. That Help page revealed how to defeat ASE, maybe that's why they removed it. Anyway, the following won't completely eliminate the frustration you're experiencing, but it will reduce it significantly.
Here's the way I do it: When you type in your search keywords, enclose a single word inside quotation marks. Don't enclose more than one word unless you specifically intend to create a character string out of them. Just one word.
The Help topic used to say that using any logic operator would defeat ASE. The quotes thing is the easiest.
