If the item is eligible, the option will appear at checkout. You would also have seen it on the listing as an “additional service available†just below the shipping.
What item # are you considering?

No, you have to add it during checkout.
You could ask the seller to cancel your purchase and relist the item so you can buy it again and add authentication. They may not want to do this since the seller has to pay the full refund before eBay releases your payment to them.

The authenticity guarantee and option anre only available for items located in the US. Your item is coming from Hong Kong.
