Estimated shipping charges from California to Australia
I'm selling an item in northern California with the option of international shipping. A prospective buyer has asked me what the shipping charges would be to Australia without providing any zip code or address information. How do I provide her with an estimate? I'm trying to figure it out, but eBay doesn't seem to be making it easy.

You don't need a zip code for Australia, shipping from California.
Here is one though: 3126 - Canterbury, Victoria

OP2 years agoThanks for taking the trouble to reply, but I'm looking for an estimate on what the international shipping charges would be, not an example of an Australian zip code. I already tried getting an estimate by having a friend make a mock offer, using a Sydney, Australia, address, but it only added $3.90 to the offer for a GST charge and appeared to be requesting a total for the offer amount plus $3.90 through PayPal. This seems like it can't be correct. Do you have any idea what the international shipping charges would be from northern California to any zip code in Australia using eBay international shipping with USPS as the carrier?
