Error or return
I have a buyer who has requested a return. I meant to click on "contact" and apparently clicked on "next" and it looks like I have accepted the return, which I am nor doing. How can I correct this or contact ebay about this? I've only sold a few things and this has never happened before. I have informed the buyer multiple times I am not accepting a return but she keeps messaging me. Tried to respond to her latest message and apparently hit the wrong option. Thanks!

Mentor2 years agoWhat is the reason for the return? If it was for an item that is not as described, eBay accepted it for you. If you don't take the item back, then eBay will refund the buyer out of your account and allow her to keep the item. You'll also receive a defect on your seller account for not accommodating the buyer.
One way or another, you accepted the return, so you need to follow through with it.

Mentor2 years agoYou can not change your acceptance of the return.
If sold with no returns, it must be a not as described return, so your only options were to accept the return or refund without return. If you want the item back, have eBay issue the label, refund when received. If you ask eBay to step in, they will say return, or may refund without return and not refund your fees. So it is better to take the return and then move on.
