Error in listing - Authentication

Question

I sold 2 sports cards that “go together”, 2 Prime Numbersakes. There was an error in the listing as I marked it as a single card, and hence, has to be authenticated due to the price it sold at. I didn’t realize 2 cards was considered a “lot” on eBay. My mistake and now I know.

I did more research and now know that 2 cards will not be authenticated and will in all likelihood be sent back to me.

Looking for opinions on the best way to proceed. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

@77bigcountry72 If you have not shipped yet then the best thing to do is to cancel the sale as problem with buyers address ( since Authenticity center address will not work for this sale)

Then refund the buyer and relist as a LOT

Refunds, even for order cancellations, come out of your available funds not pending or held. If you do not have available funds then eBay charges your back up payment method for selling costs.

Have you entered your backup payment method for selling costs here: https://ppcapp.ebay.com/myppc/wallet/list Select Manage under the method you want to use then select Preferred for selling costs. I use a credit card.

Once you issue the refund and the buyers funds are released from being held or finish processing then the buyers payment is released to you.
