entered wrong tracking number

Question

Hello, has anyone ever entered the wrong shipping/tracking number? I tried to enter the correct after recognizing my mistake but USPS wouldnâ€™t accept it. Thank you, Lori

If the tracking number will not allow you to edit the current number,

You can just upload or add a 2nd tracking number.

As a side note, if you purchased the first label on eBay, but didn't use it, the solution is to Cancel that label. It will remove that label from the tracking.

Here's how to cancel (or void) a shipping label you purchased on eBay:

- Go to Manage shipping labels: https://www.ebay.com/ship/lmng/labels-history/my-ebay

- Find the item you'd like to cancel the shipping label for, then from the Actions column, select CANCEL.

- Choose your reason for canceling the label.

- Select Cancel (or Void) shipping label.

You have 28 days to cancel a label. The refund will come about 21 days after you cancel.
