enter payment method for a refund
I have this message showing up when I want to do a refund to the buyer.
Your refund did not go through. Please add a payment option to refund the buyer.
How can I correct it?

Mentor11 months ago@lock-a-cart. You need to go to account settings > payment and add a credit card for back up payment method for selling costs.

ebay has 3 accounts all together and still don’t allow me to fully refund the buyer.
ebay has a hold on my funds.
I send a label to the buyer and I’ll let eBay handle the refund.

Mentor11 months ago@lock-a-cart Each eBay account is separate and payment methods on one account can not be used for another one.
I just wanted to make sure that you are aware that if you don't refund willingly and eBay "handles the refund" then you get a DEFECT and do not get your sellers fees back.
This is how refunds work>>
Refunds, even for order cancellations, come out of your available funds not pending or held. If you do not have available funds then eBay charges your back up payment method for selling costs.
Have you entered your backup payment method for selling costs here: https://ppcapp.ebay.com/myppc/wallet/list Select Manage under the method you want to use then select Preferred for selling costs. I use a credit card.
Once you issue the refund and the buyers funds are released from being held or finish processing then the buyers payment is released to you.
