Ending a listed early

Question

Erroneously chose $.99 for a starting bid. And I wish to revise the starting bid price. Am I able to change the starting bid price? I have two offers currently. Can I adjust the starting bid price thank you please let me know.

@longsocks234 I don't see any of your listings that have a 99 cent starting bid. Did you already revise it?

If you have NEVER had a bid (which is NOT the same as an offer) and there is still more than 12 hours left to run on the auction you can revise the Starting Price.

If you have had a bid and there is still more than 12 hours left to run, you can end the listing early without a winner (cancelling all bids when you do that IF you choose that option instead of the one to sell to the high bidder at the current bid amount). You will tick off the existing and prospective bidders and will incur a fee of the FVF you would have paid if it sold at the amount of the highest cancelled bid (the hidden maximum, not the current bid; it is supposed to be waived the first time per calendar year but I don't know whether that is automatic or you have to contact Customer Service to get the waiver). The closer to the 12 hour deadline you do that the more likely you will be suspected of deliberately avoiding paying the Reserve Price Fee to be able to list with a low Starting Price because you thought that was a good idea (as opposed to you intended to set a higher Starting Price but for some reason you didn't change the default $.99 one).
