Encourage Sellers To Offer USPS Priority Mail
Is there any way that sellers can be encouraged by eBay to offer buyers the option of having their items sent USPS Priority Mail? Currently, almost all the items I have purchased have been sent USPS Ground Advantage which may be OK if you live in the contiguous 48 states but I live in Alaska and all packages not shipped USPS Priority end up in Seattle where they are stored for days until a barge arrives then they get placed onto a barge until the barge is full. This adds considerable time (7 days travel by barge to Alaska) for the package to arrive at the receiving port where it is placed onto a truck, which brings it to Anchorage & then on a plane to our local airport. My last several purchases have been small items and have taken 18 to 21 days to arrive after being shipped. I live off one of the major highways so it's not like I live out in the boon toolies that are only accessible by float plane or boat. We ship product from here to the states using Priority Flat Rate. I would gladly pay the additional cost especially considering the fact that I am already paying for the shipping.
