Employer mistakenly canceled payment made with company card
Hello, I placed an order on behalf of my employer and paid using a company debit card that I was authorized to use. Our company's finance person received a notification from the bank about this purchase, and then mistakenly reported it as fraudulent and had the card canceled. According to the order details page, a tracking number has been provided and may have already been shipped. I immediately contacted the seller to explain the situation. I apologized and offered to pay again with a different card if there is any issue with the payment, but have not heard back yet. I'm concerned about my account potentially getting reported for fraud. Any advice on what else I can do to resolve this issue?

Mentor1 year ago@guoc All you can do is work with the seller to pay for the item again if the chargeback dispute is approved. FYI the seller is charged a $20 fee for chargebacks.
The seller may relist the item and have you pay for it again and just mark it shipped OR they might have you send the payment using an electronic payment method such as Venmo or Paypal. You are allowed to share contact information after a recent sale. eBay doesn't consider this an offsite sale since the transaction already took place.
