Embargoed Goods

Question

eBay has taken down one of my listings saying that it is from an embargoed country. However, there are several of the exact same item still listed and available for purchase. Why was my listing targeted? And I didn’t even know anything about “embargoed goods” until I got the email!

Sellers can't list embargoed goods or pre-embargoed goods from these countries or regions:

Crimea
Cuba
Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea)
Donetsk People’s Republic (DNR)
Iran
Kherson
Luhansk People’s Republic (LNR)
Syria
Zaporizhzhia

Sellers can't list certain items from these countries or regions:

Russia
- Lab-grown and natural diamonds sourced from Russia cannot be sold on eBay
- Diamond Self-Certification Form:
  - US Customs and Border Control requires that shipments containing diamonds be accompanied by a self-certification on your company letterhead attesting that the included diamonds were not sourced from Russia after a certain date
  - For items being sent to the US, please download a copy of the self-certification form, fill out the required information, and include it with your shipment. If you do not, your item may be returned to you
