emails for item refunded
hello keep getting emails for item purchased in June but never received and refund was issued and case closed July
but emails say it's due to arrive Aug. 10 assume the emails are scam since item never arrived and refund issue and eBay aware and case closed

It's hard to say. The tracking message isn't fake but it may or may not be your item
If your item was shipped and lost in mail, it could be it was located and is now on the way to you. OR
It's possible the tracking number is for someone else's package - the seller if unethical added a false tracking number to your orderr.
I guess wait to see what happens at delivery. Rely back if you have questions or updates.

OP1 month agojust got two more emails one says item on its way again and second saying it arrived
so I've marked them as spam and unsubcribed ebay

Rather than mark as spam, I would suggest you forward to spoof@ebay.com
You may miss important emails from eBay from future.

Check your mail to see if an envelope has the tracking number on it. Some scammers send promo literature in an envelope just so it gets a delivered scan. unsuspecting buyer expecting a boxed item throws it out.
