A seller i have purchased from has messaged asking for my phone number and email for , they say , customs reasons . But as far as i know ebay does not let you send these and there should be no customs problems as we are both in european union

Here in the USA, Fed Ex and UPS will ask for the buyer's phone number. I don't know if they ask for an email address as I do not use either couriers.
If the courier has problems locating the addressee's address, having that phone number will be helpful.

Mentor1 year ago@sandman2009 Here on eBay.com the seller receives the buyers phone number and a disguised email address that they can put on customs forms.
