OP6 days agosellers usually list what was done or altered in their listing, I just think that listing as NEW is wrong.

eBay has no way of telling if a seller has removed or installed used parts in an item. All you have to do is to file an Item Not As Described dispute using either Does Not Match description, or Missing parts or pieces. Using the More Actions button in your purchase history, The seller will have to respond within 3 days by either sending you a return shipping label or a full refund if they do not want to pay the return shipping cost. If they do not reply, make excuses or refuse because of a no returns policy, on the 4th day open the return request and click on the ask ebay to step in button and a refund will be issued from the sellers account.
All of the above is spelled out in ebay's Money Back Guarantee policy, which after 9 years on the site, you should have read by now.

Mentor1 week agoThey don't. That would be a violation of eBay policy and can be reported. eBay never sees the items listed on the site so they would have no way of knowing the seller did this unless you report it. Keep in mind that you can file a case for an "Item not as described" within 30 days of receiving the item. The seller would have to accept the return, pay for a prepaid return label and fully refund you once they get eh item back.

Mentor1 week agoHi @dennidunga_3
eBay has no involvement in physically handling or inspecting a Seller's item(s) that they list for sale. They are blind to what Sellers may or may not do with their items.
You are protected by the eBay Money Back Guarantee for 30 days from the date of receipt:Â eBay Money Back Guarantee policy
Â
Go to the item in your Purchase history and file a RETURN using the reason "Does not match pictures or description".  eBay will issue you a pre-paid return shipping label regardless of the Seller's return policy. You return the item and the Seller will have 2 days to refund you. Failing that you go back to the claim and ask eBay to step in and force the refund.Â
