egogo-tool ripping me off.
Summary: workhardroger1963 describes a problem with a seller from whom they purchased a carburetor for a mower. The item received was used and defective, leading to fuel leaks, and the seller is accused of providing false information about their products. workhardroger1963 is struggling to get a refund and has engaged in a back-and-forth with both the seller and eBay. jacbarcollectibles suggests opening an "Item not as described" case with eBay and advises checking with the payment source for a chargeback if deadlines are missed.
Has anyone else had problems with this seller. I have had all kinds of problems with them. They sent me a carburetor for my mower that was not new. They just cleaned up a old one. When I put it on my mower. I started dumping gas out from around the bowl. There was no Oring in it. Plus the inside was dirty. I have been trying to get my money back. But they are telling nothing but lies. Claims that all of there carburetor are new and in a unopenedbox. Been going back and forth with both this company and ebay. I sent the carburetor that they sent me back to them. They are claiming that the one I sent back is the one they sent me. Still trying to get my money back. Can anyone help me with this problem? I know that it only cost me $15.00. But it's the printable of them ripping people off. Has anyone else had this problem?

Mentor1 week agoExactly what did you do with eBay? Did you open an "Item not as described" case? Remember that you only have eBay's protection for 30 days from receipt of the item and any case you opened will automatically close after 21 days in the sellers favor unless you ask eBay to step in prior to this time.
If you have allowed the deadlines to pass then you can check with your payment source to see about a chafge back.
