Editing Returns text: "If you use an eBay shipping label, it will be deducted from your refund amoun
We have created a listing which is close to being just as we would want it.
However, we would like to change the text which appears for Returns.
We want;
"30 days returns. Buyer pays for return shipping".
We do not want;
"If you use an eBay shipping label, it will be deducted from your refund amount."
Sounds cheap, petty that we would not cover something like eBay shipping label.
Any assist would be greatly appreciated.

I believe the explanatory sentence you quoted is information meant for sellers … rather than something meant for the buyer to see.
BUT if you don’t want buyers charged for return shipping labels … why don’t you change your return policy to ‘30 days returns. Seller pays for return shipping’?
As your policy now stands … the buyer will be charged for returning items if they choose a ‘buyer’s remorse’ reason for wanting to return the item.

Mentor1 year agoThat is a static notice. It cannot be changed by the seller. eBay controls what these notices say.
