Editing a listing
Hi there! I needed to revise a listing of mine in regards to shipping options. It is showing a locked icon when I go to revise. Can anyone tell me why? I have a potential buyer and for some reason it is not showing a clear shipping amount. I would like to resolve this quickly for the potential buyer, but I can't get into the listing. Any ideas? Thank you for any assistance.

-Any listing, Buy it now or Auction that has less than 12 hours remaining cannot be changed
-Any Auction that has one or more bids cannot be changed, even if all bids are cancelled
-Any Buy it now with an outstanding Offer cannot be changed.
-If the issue is 12 hours or less I would let the Buyer know that once it is Relisted you can make changes.
-Listings can also be Ended BUT some cannot or fees may apply, read about that here: Ending a listing | eBay

If you can revise your active listing depends on if any of these four rules that prevent revision apply:
You can NOT revise an ACTIVE listing IF:
1. It's an Auction that has less than 12 hours left
2. It's an Auction with bids
3. It's a fixed price listing with open offers
4. You have reached your selling limits.

You will need to END the listing if you can not revise it. Then you can revise and relist.

If this is an auction listing you will be charged a fee based on the highest bid. You can not end an auction early with bids that has less than 12 hours remaining unless you wish to sell to the high bidder.
