EChecks?
Hi there, I can’t find a way to contact anyone at EBay. A customer is asking me to accept an eCheck. What is this? Is it a valid form of payment? Do I need to provide the buyer with my email address, phone number, etc.?

Mentor3 years agoNicely tell your buyer that they must pay through eBay checkout - you can not accept any payment directly from the buyer. To pay from a checking account, your buyer needs a debit card.
Paypal still processes e checks, but only for payments from one member to another, I believe.
An e check is payment by withdrawal from a bank account - it takes 4-5 days to clear, just like a paper check.
