eBay's wretched i.t. searching a seller's items
I found a piece of sterling flatware in a pattern I like. Went to look at the seller's other items. Tried to search the items with the word sterling. No results. I know they sell sterling, and use the word sterling in the title of the item. It shouldn't produce zero results. Searching for silver produces all too many results, many of which have nothing to do with sterling. eBay needs to get its i.t. into the 21st century.

Could you provide a link to the search you are doing -- the one that provides no results?

OP2 years agoThis has happened with several different sellers. Once I go to sellers other items and narrow the search by the word sterling, it provides zero results, although the original item I found from the seller, and the reason I wanted to see their other items was an item of sterling. I narrow items by pattern name now. Better than nothing. But no, I won't mention spécific sellers, as I'm still comparing items from several sellers and deciding on purchases.
