Ebay's Unfair Apealing Process
Has anyone ever filed a claim against a seller and was denied, then filed an apeal request and was denied as well. Ebay's claim and apeal process has no idea what the s**t they're doing!
Ebay has the worse service (if you want to call it that) team and it's very fustrating as a buyer after being denied my claim, I apealed their decision and then was denied my apeal request without an explaination on how they came to this decision. I sent Ebay proof that the seller sent the wrong item with a picture of the item and the packaging and all someone had to do is read the messages with the seller, don't think anyone bothered. Even a child could have seen that the item I bought would never have fit in the packaging that the seller used, believe that's called bait and switch.
They just went by the word of the seller stating that they sent the correct item and what's the most idiotic thing is because there's a tracking number on the packaging, the seller automatically sent the correct item that's the only explaination I got from Ebay, how stupid is that?
Ebay doesn't make a penny from the buyers but they take a percentage from the sellers on every sale, that explains why Ebay has to take the sellers side, right or wrong!

Ebay has a 30-day Money Back Guarantee for Buyer Purchase Protection. If you received something that is not as shown in the listing, you would have up to 30 days from delivery to open an Item Not as Described refund request on eBay.
In this forum, we are not able to look up if you opened a refund request on time on eBay. If you could provide more details we would be happy to try to help you.

OP1 year agoHi and thanks for your response. So apparently I filed my claim with the wrong department so I have to start over. I requested a refund from the seller again and now waiting for a response then I can file another claim under the buyer purchase protection that you mentioned. And yes I am still within the 30 day window, I have 14 days left. I'll keep you posted If things don't work out, again. Thanks for your help.
